Office Manager Job Description
Owner operated chiropractic clinic searching for an energetic, personable, detail oriented Office Manager for busy clinic in Old Town, Alexandria. Position plays a vital role in the day-to-day efficient operation of the practice. Responsibilities include assisting with medical office management duties such as:
- Completing electronic claims submission and error corrections as well as posting insurance and patient payments
- Acting as liaison with insurance companies
- Performing accounts receivable, sending patient statements and handling collections
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Attending to patient as needed to support clinical care
This is a full-time position moving from 30-40 hours within a few months. Looking for someone with long term potential who has three plus years of experience. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, organization, time management, computer and multi-tasking skills. You will experience an autonomous and public facing position, requiring a high level of flexibility and customer service, and will enjoy a friendly, fast paced and welcoming environment in return.
